Something not working, or have an idea? Email support@spct.me. Include your iOS version, your Audiobookshelf server version and what you were doing when it went wrong.
An Audiobookshelf server, version 2.26 or newer, and an account on it. Audioborb doesn't sell or host books; it plays the ones on your server.
Enter the same address you use for the Audiobookshelf web app, including
http:// or https:// and the port if there is one, e.g.
http://192.168.1.20:13378. For a server on your home network, allow Local Network
access for Audioborb in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network.
Yes. Add a home-network address alongside your public one under Settings › Account & server. Audioborb tries the home address first and falls back to the public one.
Your Shelf is the short list of books you're reading, separate from the whole library. It's saved on your server as a private playlist called audioborb (the name can be changed in Settings › Shelf), so it also shows up in the Audiobookshelf web app.
Download a book from its page and it plays without a connection. Progress, bookmarks and shelf changes made offline are queued and sent when you're back online; Settings › Sync & activity shows what's waiting.
That's smart rewind. After a pause of more than a few seconds, Audioborb replays a little so you don't lose the thread. Adjust or turn it off in Settings › Playback.
